Printing to Bleed

Hi, I just wanted to know if the xerox machines can print to bleed? I've always been told by everyone at my store that our xerox's (xeroxes?) Never print to bleed But a customer swears that he's gotten his flyers printed to the bleed without cutting before 🤷‍♂️ Can anyone shed some light please?
