Should I read Manga or watch anime

Hi! I’m trying to get into full metal alchemist and I’m thinking about if i should read the manga first or if I should watch brotherhood first? I already own the book including volumes 1-3 and I can easily watch brotherhood on crunchyroll with a vpn but I’m divided. What should I do?
