Bad Autoleveling?

I have a Neptune 4 and recently I've been having trouble with my leveling. I changed to silicone spacers and manually level the bed, but when I run the automatic leveling it seems like I just get random results. In the pictures I ran the automatic leveling twice in a row without adjusting anything and got wildly different results. Is this a known issue and how do you fix it. I've tried updating my firmware following the directions but I always just get a "Failed to update" notification. The corgi is very concerned about my sanity...
