Tall guy deciding between Santa Fe and Outback
Hey guys, first time poster on this sub... Looking to get in a new Santa Fe or a new Outback, and wanted any thoughts or experiences any one has with these two platforms. Last vehicle was a '97 dodge diesel so lower trim levels are fine by me and I'd strongly prefer to stay under a msrp of $35k. I'm 6'5" w/36" inseam and do a lot of long drives and also like to go backpacking/camping/skiing. The Santa fe has the better warranty, statistically lower likelihood of repairs, and on paper better head room. The outback will hold its value better, arguably is a better vehicle for my purposes (awd system and better mpg), and might fit my height as well without a sunroof.
Also looking for opinions on the comfort of driving either, and comparisons in infotainment, lane/cruise assist.
