Do You Think AI Chat Bots Will Undergo an Evolution and Become More Immersive?

Think something like plugging your VR headset up, accessing something that's like Character.AI, inputting RP prompts and experiencing them inside your headset, maybe there could be some kind of default setting until the prompts started customizing what the surroundings looked like and it would randomly generate something that was like what was described.

You could either talk aloud to it or type stuff in, with the characters and their appearance being a fully fleshed out thing from either how you made them, perhaps through some process of AI generation or other people's existing bots, that have an appearance already.

I'm just thinking with existing bots of fictional characters today, they'll perhaps undergo an evolution like this at some point.

Btw, I know opinions on chat bots are mixed here but consider this apart from whether you like them or not and more in terms of, whether or not you think they'll be developed more in terms of what they can offer.
