Seriously how are ppl making lucent?

I see a lot of comments of ppl saying they make loads of lucent from AH. Traits I get from blue gears are all around 10 lucent. Yesterday I got an epic crossbow with heavy at dmg, 200 lucent in AH. So how come ppl say they make 10k+ ??? What am I doing wrong? Or are ppl really lucky with their drops
