Is me and my bfs relationship "weird" ?

I never rlly thought it was, I really love him, and recently I've seen my friends reposting things directed at me being negative abt height differences in couples, I'm 4'11 and he's somewhere around 5'11-6'0, we aren't weird with it, he pats my head and plays with my hair sometimes, calls me cute and makes fun of me being smaller but he doesn't mean it in any creepy way but my friends see it like that? It really annoys me because he always has insanely sweet intentions and isn't weird nor sexual at all, also he's younger than me, are my friends in the right to be acting like it's creepy?
