why RE???

i know, i know, i know…this subreddit is literally dedicated to RE bikes so please don’t banish me, but i have to ask:

why did you choose a RE over the other big name brands like triumph or harley?

EDIT: thank you everyone for the responses! happy to know that my brain is thinking the same thing as so many of you. i live in TX and it so often seems like the only choice is harley or none 🙄
