What's your opinion on Legend cards?

I'm a beginner collector and saw an ad for a Kraken deck for $18 usd made by Legend Plasying Card Company. I hadn't heard of this printer until today and I thought the price was a bit high (I'm used to buying Bicycle). What are your thoughts on this?

Edit: i forgot to mention the Kraken deck by Black Ink.
