Raising prices

just a rant, got yelled at the other day by a karen because blue buffalos prices got higher and she did not like it asking why PETSMART is raising the prices. a manager overheard her yelling at me and informed her it’s not us it’s the company we have no control and if she really had a problem with it to contact blue buffalo themselves. She wanted us to price match her receipt because “ they’ve done it before” ( which was more than likely because we didn’t update our prices on the floor yet so we price matched it.) and then throws a tantrum when we refused and said how we “lost” a customer and will continue to “ loose” more. she definitely did not like when i answered her question by saying inflation is happening so prices are increasing everywhere so the $3.12 is not the same price of the $3.12 she’s used to. Edit: forgot to mention a customer behind her chipped in and was like “ you know who you need to blame for this?” * slams hand on belt* “BIDEN!!!”
