Take a character from the current roster and add two similar movesets but specialized for the roles the original doesn't cover. Something like this:

So, for example, if Iron Man is a duelist then two similar characters in a different role would be War Machine (Vanguard) and Rescue (Strategist). Or Venom, with a Duelist variant in Carnage and a Strategist one in Anti-Venom.
