One of the best experiences I've had was spending three months working in London during the summer... it's unparalleled.
We were three friends from Spain, back in 2012, and we all decided to go to London to earn a bit of cash and learn English.
What a summer we had! The three of us worked at a McDonald's, and we went out every single weekend in Shoreditch.
We learned a lot of English and, most importantly, we had our first job.
I learned so much — I mean, I hadn't even taken the metro in Madrid, so you can imagine!
We shared a house with five other people from Australia, Korea, and China.
It's something unique about this city. I love London!
Edit:
Honestly, we were three country bumpkins in London, and we were young. And for the first time, we had money to spend.
I never had india food before.
I was amazed by paying with contactless.
How easy was to find a job (we still were in the crisis).
It felt i was in a cyberpunk city
