Resources on Kurdish History

I am a Bosnian living in the US and I have been learning a lot about the Kurds and I have to say, I’m quite fascinated by your history and culture! Idk why but I greatly admire the Kurds and find you all inspiring (even though I’m just some random dude from the balkans haha)

I’ve been trying to expand my knowledge of Kurdish people though unfortunately I do not know anyone personally who identifies as Kurdish (or at least no one where I’m living). Do any of you have suggestions on good books or resources that can provide a comprehensive history of the Kurdish people including origins, cultural practices, religious diversity, and even politics? I appreciate any advice or suggestions.
