Disheartened and Confused After Learning That Making Dua After Fardh Constantly Is Bidah

Assalamualaikum everyone. I randomly saw a video today from Sheikh Assim al Hakeem that making dua after every Fardh salah, as if it was a part of salah, is an innovation.

I've been doing this all my life, but I'm willing to change this habit to better follow the sunnah, however... the other options is to make dua during salah. I believe the majority of scholars agree that duas made during the salah can only be made in Arabic, but I don't know Arabic.

I have so much to ask for. How can I express myself without using Arabic? I feel a little hopeless to be honest.

Can someone clarify that I don't really have a choice and will just have to use duas from the Quran and Sunnah?
