Kefine Klean initial impressions (4 hours in)

No qc issues with my unit, which I was a bit worried about after seeing some posts mentioning channel imbalance.

Build quality is great for the price. The metal shells feel reliable. It uses a screw to hold the earpiece together instead of glue, it'll feel nice not to have the constant dread of the faceplate falling off after 3 months. The stock cable is sturdy and pliable. Eartips are unremarkable. I've mostly been using the silver nozzle.

Sound? In a nutshell: Slightly bassy neutral, very refined tuning for the price, easy on the ears and fun.

Bass They certainly have more bass emphasis than many 'neutral' sets, but I wouldn't consider this a basshead IEM. Sub-bass rumbles but doesn't overpower, drums are punchy and clean.

Smooth mids: female vocals stand out, male vocals have sufficient thickness, the timbre is naturalistic and rich.

Energetic yet non fatiguing treble: It's not overly spicy but by no means is it timid, certainly nod muddy. No sibilance detected so far(silver filter).

The soundstage is pretty wide, the resolution and imaging is honestly, astounding. As one would expect from a well tuned 1DD, they are very coherent.

If you want a refined, fun single DD for ~44$ without compromising on technicalities, easily recommended.
