Skiing the Cog
Has anyone skied up the cog recently? Thinking of trying it in the next week. I am wondering if in current conditions it's possible to skin to the top and ski down or if there's inevitably a pitch where the skins come off and the spikes or crampons go on.
I have scouted it before while hiking and the area around the trestles higher up always looked very sharky and unskiable, so I figured it is a skin up, walk up, tag the summit, walk down, ski down.
For reference I have gone up Mt. Washington many many times in winter via Right Gully, Lobster Claw, Lion's Head summer and winter, and also from the Ammo side.
