Distemper

My 1 year old shih tzu is positive its day 2. Her symptoms are lethargy, discharge on the eyes and nose, and labored breathing. She is still able to walk and leap to a bed and can eat and drink by herself (but I still syringe feed her if she eats too little). And the vet have given us meds and medications are consistent and given on time. But I'm still worried sick and restless overthinking, I have no one to talk and ask questions to. Makakaya nya ba to? Will neurological symptoms show up later? How many days does this battle last? thanks in advance for the answers :<
