Auto saves deleted in age transition

I’ve noticed all the auto saves be deleted post a transition. It’s actually really annoying because usually I save gold and some actions as I get close to the end of the age to buy things but because there’s not always a warning before the transition, sometimes it all goes to waste or sometimes I forget to change momentos and I’d be really nice just to be able load up an old save but I notice them all gone
