Idle temperature suddenly increases permanently?

Hi, everyone.

I recently built my first PC (specs at the end of the post) and I still have a lot to learn. I’ve run into a question, but I haven’t been able to find a satisfactory answer in my searchs, as most results are from temperature spikes rather than permanent readings.

After assembling my PC, I noticed, watching the CPU cooler screen, that the idle temperature was around 39°C. However, after two days of use, the temperature permanently increased to 50°C.

Is this normal? Or should I investigate the cause of the temperature increase? I did install some new programs, but the temperatures I mentioned are with the PC running the same programs as before (I closed the new ones to check if that was the issue).

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: i activated the PBO, set limit to motherboard, and curve optmizer to -20, but it only lowered 1ºC and the PC became very slow to boot, and when I tried to shut it down, it didn’t turn off (the video turned off, but a LED stayed on the motherboard), so I reverted it to the way it was before.
