Recomendations for a Guy that mostly only reads comicbooks

Hey! I was looking to gift a friend of mine some books for his birthday since he mentioned he wants to read more books this year. He mostly reads comic books so im looking for books that have that narrative vibe. He likes comics like The Fix, Moonknight, Mr. Miracle, Saga, Paper Girls, Sandman, things like that.

He is from Argentina, so if you have recomendations from hispanic authors they are welcome too as well as english speaking authors.

Just in case don't recomend anything by Neil Gaiman, he is very familiar with his work, I'm looking to give him a new reading experince.
