(Spoilers Published) Common theories and their explanation

Hey all, new to the ASOIAF community at large. I’ve been hearing a lot about certain theories about Jon’s parents and Littlefinger and so on, but even after reading the books multiple times I haven’t picked up on anything that wasn’t directly stated by characters. What are some commonly accepted theories and their evidence?
