Aries and Taurus couple - 200ish $?
Concept (careful you might cringe):
I'm moving in with my partner, and I always wanted some art that symbolize who will be living there.
We do not believe in astrology, but we're kinda amazed at how we are kind of caricatures of our two zodiac signs, the Aries and the Taurus. The personality traits fits us pretty well. And we are proud of that; Aries and Taurus are an unlikely duo, very complementary because they are so different. And me and him are opposites. We're pretty proud of making it work so well for 6 years now.
What are Aries personality traits?
- Courageous (read: reckless)
- Competitive (read: insecure)
- Honest (read: tactless)
- Driven (read: pressurised)à

What are Taurus personality traits?
- Stable
- Steady
- Loyal
- Persistent
- Organized
- Sensual
So thats pretty much us in a nutshell. Aries is personalized by fire, Taurus, by the earth, or by a forest. The combination of both would be a flaming forest fire.
Anyways. I wrote all that to brainstorm. My goal is to have a cool art of decent dimension that I could print frame and hang, that would represent our opposing traits working in complementarity as zodiac signs.
More about us, we're a gay couple, he's Mexican, I'm English, not that its necessary relevant.
Something I had in my head, was a top-down view of an aries and a taurus, horns interlocked, facing each other, touching head, perhaps in a vague shape of a yin yang, in a very stylized manner.
Disposition of animals, except these are fishes:
The style could be as wild and imaginative and conceptual. The more abstract the better tbh;
Could be colored as well.
As for budget... I have no idea of whats a fair price, since I never commissioned anything, but I've seen 200-300$ floating around here often, and for me that, or more, is absolutly not a problem. I just expect to have an understanding of what goes into a reasonable rate.
