I have a few friends that defend our premier's decision to give multi billion dollar companies 20 billion dollars to clean up orphaned wells. So here's some bite sized comparisons.

Alberta's population is 4.3 million people

But not every citizen is a tax payer (my 4 year old has yet to pay any taxes for example). So; Statista.com says the working population in Alberta is 1.91 million people.
