FAFSA Cancelled - Can it be reinstated?

For context, I am transferring from UIC, and I recently received my financial aid notification for my previous institution (UIC, transferring to UIUC for the upcoming Fall Semester). I cancelled UIC's financial aid, as I will not​​ be attending UIC, and did not wish to incur a possible fee. However, I checked my UIUC FAFSA and student aid, and found that it also cancelled UIUC's institutional financial aid. I had submitted that I wanted to keep UIUC's financial aid a few months ago when I received it around May, so do you guys know if it would it be possible to reinstall that financial aid back to previous? Does anyone have any experience reinstating their financial aid?
