Philip Seymour Hoffman died of a heroin overdose with 10 days left of filming “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay”. Instead of recasting, the studio used CGI sparingly, reassigned some of his lines to Woody Harrelson and incorporated existing footage to complete his scenes.
