Help?

I know my build for Thomas isn’t good I just came back to the game recently and for some reason I still don’t have a curse set to give to him but I read the 8 piece blessing activated upon ultimate too and his ultimate comes pretty often wouldn’t it be alright to give it to him or just 4 piece of curse and i think obsidian 4.
