Rolling "Toe Stops"
Hi! I've been playing with the idea of a screw-in toe stop attachment to aid with toe spins. I'm thinking of either an omni-directional wheel design, like those wheels on an office chair, or a globe/ rubber ball on an axis.
I think this could be beneficial for learning, stability, also for preventing toe injuries and floor damage (especially for those without jam plugs).
Would you use something like this? Thoughts?
Edit: After talking it out with some of you, I realized that I left out a couple details:
First off, I would only recommend using these on a skating rink floor. I didn't think about using them outside at all, but that's pretty interesting.
Secondly, I was thinking about two sizes - one would be the length of a large, traditional toe stop, and the other would Stick out slightly farther than a jam plug.
I appreciate all the feedback.
