Niche Difference In Tractor Boots

does anyone know what the difference is between tractor bozos from that have this central seam that turns inward on the upper (photos 1&2) but newer/other tractors seem to be missing that seam?

I noticed my pair (the first photo) had this and I hadn’t seen it on any other pairs until I came across someone with another pair (second photo) that claimed they had a “more rare” version of the boot that was “taller”.

I have no idea whether it’s actually more rare or what would make it more rare — anyone who has any knowledge about this would be appreciated
