Knulli is the best CFW. Fight me!
I'm using the Alpha version of Knulli and am super happy with it:
- HDMI working with audio
- Bluetooth controllers working for full docked multiplayer on TV
- Bluetooth audio working (though I haven't tested it personally)
- Even got retroarch netplay working between devices.
- Super convenient to load and organize games over network
- Automatic scraping of videos/box art/manuals/etc. is super convenient
- Emulation Station is a killer UI
- Tons of ports working well - half life, bleed 2, stardew valley, quake II,III, duke nukem, fallout 1,2, Hexen I,II, Heart of Darkness, etc. pretty much all that I've tried have worked pretty well
I think most complaints people have are simply from not reading the docs and doing things wrong. I can't really find much fault. Sure it takes a few more seconds to boot, but they are already talking about disk based hibernate which will do ~5 second startup with no battery drain while off. I already think it's the best CFW, but the things they haven't solved already will likely be solved in the next 1-2 months.
If you are willing to follow the Quick Start Guide and use the alpha firmware (which will probably be out of alpha in 1-2 weeks, you will probably really enjoy it.
