Suavecito Alternative for husband - Scent problems. Need hold and shine.

My husband has been using Suavecito Oil Based Pomade since we met. And the scent didn’t bother me at first but now it makes me nauseous. He really loves it but is willing to try other options I think he likes the hold and shine. But the scent, and the build up have been issues.

I know this question has been asked before but I know nothing about men’s hair and am having a hard time figuring out which recommendations to actually ask him to try out.
