What occasion is this?

The pic is a screenshot I took from a YouTube vid about Prince (obviously). Don't remember what the vid was about exactly, but in any case the shot in the pic was very short and it wasn't explained on what occasion it was taken. It looks to me like Prince is at some sort of award ceremony and he's just been called out as the winner and he's getting up to walk toward the stage. I'm wondering what occasion it was. Prince looks unusually happy and genuine here IMO.

Anyone know?
