Switches Fail - Need Help

My unmanaged switches constantly fail, only a few have lasted more than 6 months, some only a couple of months.

I’ve tried everything from cheap no-name Chinese switches to pro grade Cisco switches, all eventually fail and I don’t know why.

Here’s my setup: 1 main 10+ port switch fed directly from my modem/router to each device and 1 secondary 5 port Netgear switch in my office (that never fails), installed in a media closet with all of my other gear like modern/router, Xbox, NVR for POE cameras, smart hubs, etc. All devices are powered on grounded surge protectors. All enets runs in the house are Cat6e plenum.

Usually, after the switches fail, I can power cycle them and they’ll work again anywhere from a few minutes to a few days but they always fail again. Of course, the first thing I used to do would be to change enet cables out, but that never works.

I can’t for the life of me figure out why they are constantly failing and I’m tired of buying new ones.

Any ideas on what could be happening or what I can do to prevent it???
