Do our upper kitchen cabinets look weird? Honest opinions appreciated

So I know this may be silly but... hear me out.

TL;DR: Building kitchen cabinets, uppers looked fine in rendering, built them and felt iffy about them, then liked them, then coworker questioned the design, now unsure just wondering others opinions since I most likely wont go through the effort to change them. Does it look goofy or am I being OCD?

I have slowly been renovating a home and the kitchen is the current project. I've been building the cabinets whenever I find time. I finally have the base and island done so the kitchen is functional again!

That said I have moved onto the uppers. I rendered them up as shown and didn't think anything of it. Due to the weird slanted ceiling we have that is why I went with 30" carcasses so that they could be 18" above the counter, and then flush right with the bottom of the angle. So because of that we couldn't do cabinets up to the ceiling without a weird corner cut (could have done L shaped floating shelves in hindsight...)

I didn't do a refrigerator surround (which I wish I would have in hindsight), so I thought having that carcass the same height and depth as the microwave carcass would make sense. I didn't do as much research as I should have on modern designs and just figured I had seen the varying depth and heights before so it looks fine.

Well, now as I start to build and install, I am a little thrown off. I think the distance between the 30" counter carcasses to the top of the microwave and fridge carcass has me thrown (thinking the microwave and firdge should have been lower), and the alternating depths one right after the other. But, as I start to get the moulding up and primer on I am not as worried. I think the raw, boxy, doorless carcasses threw me.

But, just as it's now been growing on me a coworker asked why I did the varying dimensions stating it doesn't seem to match the current style and seems odd. So now I am confused how I feel about it since it validated my thoughts.

All in all I know I am being OCD and will more than likely not change anything (this post would've been better prior to designing and building), as it won't add any value in the future. However, I am just truly curious peoples thoughts. Does this look weird, or am I just being way too picky and OCD?

Appreciate any and all honest opinions and feedback.

Thanks!
