Guitar pro freezes/crashes constantly

Does anyone else experience this? I use this software everyday, but it freezes and crashes so often that I’m about to go back to tux guitar. Tux isn’t as fancy, but at least it’s reliable (and free). I have a pretty nice PC too, so I don’t think it’s a lack of computing power. Has anyone else experienced this? Have you taken any steps to resolve this?
