Downloaded because I remember playing it like 3-4 years ago. what did they do to this game and is it still similar to its old mechanics?

I haven't played this game in like 3-4 years but saw it was on PlayStation so I downloaded it for the nostalgia of what was 3-4 years ago. Anyway the tutorial threw me off but I've completed the first 3 tutorials and it feels like a completely different game aside from the gem matching mechanic. Anyway is the game similar to how it was 3-4 years ago or is that game just gone now.
