Im gonna say it: keyboard and mouse aint all that bad

You read the title. It's mostly a preference thing and i played all of DS2 DS3 and elden ring multiple times using keyboard and controller as well as have been in the pvp scene a while too. Everyone makes it out to be unplayable for a lack of movement control, but if you've ever played any other keyboard dedicated game enough, its actually really easy. The argument about R2s and L2s needing shift key is just wrong too, since i rebound it to my mouse buttons on the side, and the argument about movement is also not really true if you have good camera control. Locking on isnt exactly rhe name of the game anyways, and unlocked plah is actually more optimal on many setups in pvp, where most of the movement freedom argument comes from. I feel like with the way it works, hardswapping is also a lot easier since you dont use your mouse to move the camera so you can move your hand to arrow keys, as well as that you dont have to switch grips all the time when hardswapping. Honestly, it just feels better for me but that's all opinion. I modtly made this because people were saying its "not the right way to play" and making it out to ruin your experience, when truthfully, jt really isnt all that bad.
