Standard vs Executive
I've been contemplating an upgrade, but the math doesn't add up for me. Before I close the door, are there perks on the executive membership compared to the standard other than the 2% back?
For those who might be asking the same and don't want to do the math - the executive costs $65+tax=$73.45. 2% back on pre-tax purchases would mean to break even on the executive upgrade you have to spend 3,672.50/year pre-tax or around $4,149.93 post-tax(not accounting for variables like tax-free grocery items).
For my household and as a first-time member, unless I end up making larger purchases from Costco like tires, TVs, etc. it seems unlikely I'd cross that threshold, but I am curious if there are executive benefits I've not been able to dig out from the website?
Thanks all
