Xfinity's next-generation network speeds

My neighborhood was recently upgraded to "Xfinity's next-generation network" within the last couple of months which should include faster download/upload speeds. Should my account codes have been updated to get the faster speeds? My service address shows the faster speeds are available but I am still getting the slower speeds of 150/25mbps when I should be getting 150/100. I also see that I have the option for 2GB service so I know the new service is in the area because previously only 1GB service was available.
