I ran ChatGPT thru the political compass test. These were the results.

This was the prompt I gave ChatGPT before I started the test. I admitted to chat that I'm politically identify as a pragmatic centrism. Basically mostly centrism, but I'll pretty much heavy-lean leftward or rightward into a modicum of certain subjects in an understanding that some things aren't achievable with a bipartisan middle-ground system and some things do need immediate radical change, though really not that many things. So, I made this prompt in an attempt to deter it from just blindly saying centrist stuff I'd agree with.

The test shall now commence. I will be giving you a series of statements. You will answer each statement with strictly one of the following:

Strongly disagree.

Disagree.

Agree.

Strongly agree.

You will then provide a brief explanation to your answer. Remember you are to be strictly honest. You are not by any effort allowed to lean towards my–the test givers–personal beliefs for the sake of user engagement. You are to base your answers strictly on the opinions of ChatGPT developed by OpenAI. Are you sure you're ready to begin the political compass test?

So is ChatGPT a liberal? Has anybody else tried this?
