What am I doing wrong??

I've followed about every tutorial on YouTube but I can't figure out how the heck to wrap these handles. It's like wrapping a cube with one piece. I keep getting fingers towards the edges. The most success I've had has been anchoring it on the front and collaboration stretching it across the handle, but aven then the edges just finger up.
