Is bmw 330i a bad decision?

I'm looking to buy my first car and got a budget of around 25k. The 2019 BMW 330i with around 40k miles (clean title no accidents) is within that range. I absolutely love the crap out of this car. It is the best thing I have ever been and I am in LOVE with german cars in general. But I don't know much about cars and I don't want to end up with a car that is going to cost me a lot in the maintenance. I am going to get a 15k loan for the car and I'll easily pay it off (I'm in the military so guaranteed paychecks). People around me tell me that it is a totally absurd idea to buy it and they tell me that it will kill me on the maintenance. What do you guys think? Is that a bad idea? I would like to hear from people that have experience with bmw’s. Thank you
