What are your thoughts on the Biden’s wanting to “reenter the political sphere”?

Former President Joe Biden reportedly wants to re-enter the political conversation, helping the Democratic Party rebuild, fundraise, and campaign for candidates.

Now, I admire Joe Biden a great deal. I think he’s done a lot for the country in his long career, and he did a lot of good in his presidency.

But I’m not sure how things would be helped with him showing up and chiming in at this moment. The party has a vacuum of leadership at the moment, it’s still finding its footing, and new leaders will emerge. But I think it is time we turn the page.

Two people I am not interested in hearing from in the slightest at this moment or anytime in the future are Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. And I highly doubt the country is, either. Trump would love for them to come out of hiding, though. Would give him a convenient punching bag to distract from his own failures.

It’s important to understand that Donald Trump is not President by accident. He is President because Joe Biden lacked self-awareness and humility, and decided to run for reelection against better judgment. He is President because Biden dropped out just 107 days before the election. He is President because the baton was passed to a nominee who was unable and unwilling to put any daylight between herself and Biden when Biden had a 40% approval rating. He is President because Harris ran an uninspiring, overly-cautious campaign that refused to meet many voters where they’re at. He is President because of specific decisions which were made - decisions that made it possible for such a flawed person to win an election that was completely winnable for Democrats. I don’t think we’re well served by putting the architects of this debacle on a pedestal.
